Chapstick
Gabe loves Chapstick just like mommy!! He sees me putting it on and starts shouting CHAPSTICK! and comes running over. He also know how to count (sorta). He was told he could have one doughnut(circle) and grabbed two and said two? His vocabulary is amazing and his comprehension is too. He understands and follows through on simple instructions like getting mommy her water or getting the remote. We are still working on putting toys away though. THat is always an adventure because he just wants to play with the toys.

A growing boy
Gabe can speak in full sentences now. For example: tractor, where are you? He frequently walks around crying holding a toy shouting FIX IT!! Oftentimes there is nothing wrong with it so who knows what he thinks is wrong with it. He is obsessed with "blueberry drinks" which are blueberry smoothies made with frozen blueberries, milk, veggies, protein powder or greek yogart. He loves them and anytime I use the ninja blender he comes running shouting BLUE BERRY DRINK! We are continuing to work on potty training with limited success. Now that he has just changed into the twos room at daycare this will hopefully improve. They will be taking him to the potty every two hours. He will consistently pee on the potty but will never tell us he has to pee. It will come though...he just turned two.
Gabe may or may not know what is coming in the future. He loves my growing belly and runs over to touch it when I am changing. He has even given my belly kisses and rasberries! But he does not want to read the big brother book! NO!! He says. So this should be interesting when his little brother comes home and starts crawling and touching all of the toys in the house that were only Gabe's and now are shared toys. Trucks, trucks everywhere. Trucks, Trucks, all to share!!! Poor Gabe. Hope he transitions OK into a big brother...

I cannot believe our little baby is two. It is surreal. What a fast, amazing, awesome two years this has been. He has made our lives more full and more awesome than we could have ever imagined. You are the best little boy we could have ever asked for and are looking forward to the future with you and your new brother!!
