How do I love you?
Let me count the ways.
Ok nevermind. It's every way imaginable.
It's my goal to let my kids know they are so loved, wanted, and important in my life. They add such and laughter to my life and complete our family. There would be no sunshine (or more appropriately no perfectly foggy drizzling grey PGH days--better than sunshine!) without both a Gabe and a Benny. They are both so different, so unique, yet both so loving and caring and wonderful. As they grow older I feel such privilege to get to be the mom and feel such love from them every day. The blog, though sadly years behind and caught up as I get to it hopefully will show them a picture of the life we create for them daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.
As they watch me fight through several chronic illnesses they show such compassion, patience, and love. Not many outside of our inner circle can really appreciate what it's like to live with health uncertainty every day. I hope what they see will help them be wonderful partners to their future spouses and children.
Although we may not have the nicest house (yes I know Benny!) We don't lack in fun and entertainment. We always be sure to budget for fun times even if it's with a coupon or Groupon to make it happen!!
2 flourishing boys is more than I ever could have wished for (I thought I would be the crazy cat lady!) and I love watching them develop individual interests and assert their individual personalities.
This is my gift to you and even if it is spottyily updated at times I hope you can appreciate this as a window into our crazy life.
