So dear son I asked some friends on Facebook what were their favorite things about having a son…(Jorge will probably ask me what was this Facebook thing I was talking about because it will probably be long gone by the time he reads this). These are the responses that I got:
Melanie Demis Let's see....the bond with their dad, & the fact they they can b the big brother for little girl in the future :o) I love everything about my son, but its how u raise ur own kids that makes a difference. Besides they get all the cool toys....lol
JamesandJennifer BR His relationship with daddy...he has no fear, likes to be the typical lil boy!
Jennifer DiVecchio He's rough like a boy but so sweet at the same time....he gives lots of hugs and kisses and pats other kid's backs when they cry :) I could go on forever. You will LOVE having a son. And you will adore watching your husband be a father. It's the BEST.
Jennifer Kostella Fox There are SO MANY things I love about my boys. I love the fact that they play rough. Trucks RULE over dolls!! Monster trucks or Princess on Ice?? MONSTER TRUCKS!!! Women melt over them especially when Hayden says "Hi gorgreous girls" Playing in the dirt!! Eating worms (kidding)!! Wrestling with them yet at the end of the day when Hayden climbs up on my lap and says "you're my best friend, Mama. I love you" They melt your heart because that is your baby boy!!! ♥ ♥
Carmen Beserra-Dedig The way boys love the mama, at lease my boys do. I thank God every day for my boys!
Geralyn Dedig-Perrotti The special bond that boys have with their moms
Gina Roberto Dedig Ditto from Aunt Ger & Aunt Carmen!
Ashley A Donaldson getting peed on when you change the diaper...haha...no..i really can't say yet but so far he seems to have a really close attatchment with me, always looking up and smiling at me!
April Stephenson Dorcak Where to begin....he's a bundle of energy, always was so alert and energetic from day one...made it so much fun, though exhausting! I hear that's more typical of boys, although I have nothing to compare it to. ;-) It makes it all the more special those few times when he does lay down on you and fall asleep...Also, boys will be Momma's boys....still melts my heart every time I get a hug...Boys can pull off skull & crossbone onesies way better than girls...Watching him flirt with the ladies is super cute, especially when he buries his head in my shoulder after he smiles at one! He looks to Dad for approval and Mommy for comfort...he liked roughhousing even when he was a tiny little dude....he is "all boy" but still has a very sweet (especially for me!) side...watching him drive cars and trucks around and "vroom" is awesome...and, of course, no pink!! (I could go on and on....)
Stephanie Galbraith McDonough I don't know where to start! They are so much fun. They can be so rough and so sweet. They make me laugh at how much they act like their Dad. They are in everything! Climbing and exploring, but in the next breath snuggling. I love their clothes. They look like little men! Even though they run you ragged and are exhausting, I realize as teenagers there will be so much less drama!
Jenny Forrester Reitmeyer I love that Wm is becoming a little man, wanting so much to be like his daddy (stretching with him before Ryan's jog every morning, peering down into the car engine standing on a chair while Ryan fixes something on the car, building bug houses out of my old vases for his pet beetle that he picked up out of the yard). But at the same time I love that isn't stuck in "boy only" toys and can have just as much fun with his play kitchen as with his trucks, will pick a pink cup with hearts on it because he loves me as quickly as his Superman cup, will feed and put his action figure to bed with one of his teddy bears. If you let them, a boy will melt your heart and defy your expectations.
Rachel Elder that Madoc just looooves his mama (and his daddy too). He is a cuddle bug and full of energy. I think mothers & sons have a special connection. It is so incredibly sweet, I can't describe how awesome it makes me feel.
Leslie Reitmeyer I can't say there is just one favorite thing about having a son. From watching kids shows and knowing all the songs (Wiggles.) Just wait, you'll be dancing around the room singing "Hot Potato" before too long. You'll have the programing schedule memorized.
Deanie Bilock EVERYTHING! :)
Especially after reading all these posts I really cannot wait to meet you!!!! But for now I must bask in the glory of being crafty:
