Almost four months old!

He is almost FOUR months old! I cannot believe how fast time has flown. Because I am back to work and the little guy is much more active there hasn't been much time for blogging. But I wanted to add a few milestones to the blog. He still has no teeth but is still drooling and chomping down on things like a champ. We will be starting some rice cereal very soon. He eats 6 ounces of formula every 3 hours or so, this kid loves to eat so solids should be really fun! Rusty will be so excited! He smiles, laughs, and coos regularly. He rolled over the other day from back to front and the next day he rolled over from front to back. He grabs things and holds onto them for extended periods of time. When he is hungry if he sees you making his bottle he will calm down because he knows food is coming. Johnny brought home an awesome book about noisy trucks with buttons to press that make the sounds of the trucks. Gabriel learned how to press the buttons almost immediately! We were soooo exciited! He discovered his feet TODAY. He can grab them but not quite get them into his mouth. He also learned how to bounce himself on his bouncy chair by shaking his leg. Its funny because he will shake his legs like that even if he isn't in the bouncy chair trying to get various surfaces to bounce. He loves his Mortimer the moose, Sophie the giraffe, and Captain Calamari the squid. He went to his first baseball game (Lancaster barnstormers)and was enthralled with the sights and sounds. But, he got overtired and overstimulated and had a hysterical, inconsolable meltdown. Johnny thinks Gabriel just realized he is a Pirates fan.

Gabriel still LOVES it outside--he sure takes after his daddy! He wears 6 months clothes now and his favorite thing to wear is nothing but a diaper. He is a hot kid! We are having the greatest time being Gabriel's parents loving every second of it! Even when we are exhausted when he flashes that big toothless grin it makes it all worthwhile.
