Talker

Gabe is such a little talker! He loves to talk about Frosty the snowman (that he and daddy built together and now has fallen over), the icey roads we got stuck on (and had to walk the rest of the way to Grandma's house), and of course trucks, airplanes, trains, mickey mouse, and Daddy!! It is only a matter of time before he gets us in trouble repeating something he shouldn't. We must watch our mouths and have had to spell things a lot more lately so he doesn't know what we are talking about.


Its so amazing how he is turning into his own little person.  He turned two and became independent and defiant overnight and has his own opinions and makes sure we know about them!!  It is so fun to watch his personality develop.  He has such a fun personality and again is just like his daddy.  He is outgoing, friendly, social, funny, and fun.  He thinks potty humor is hilarious.  Farts and burps are laugh out loud funny to Gabe.  We are working on potty training with limited success.  He will pee on the potty pretty much every time we have him sit on it but will not initiate a potty trip yet.  No pooping on the potty since that very first time awhile ago.  I bought some stickers and a poster board and will be making him a potty chart where he can put a sticker on the chart every time he uses the potty and see if that improves success.  He was so ready before and we didn't follow through because of daycare not being willing to participate until age two so hopefully we didn't miss our window of opportunity. 


Gabe is so sweet to his new brother.  He points to my growing belly and says "brother." He has shared food and toys with his brother too.  I sure hope he continues to be so willing to share when brother is here and grabbing at his prized truck collection!! 


Being pregnant while raising a toddler while working nearly full time is the hardest thing I have ever done.  Thank goodness the end result of a wonderful baby boy will be worth it!  I can't wait to begin our life as a family of four together!  I am so excited to be the mother of two boys!!! Its a dream come true and am I so lucky to be given this chance.  And bonus: I get to be the queen of the house :)
